Kitchen & Bar Van Rijn is a thriving hospitality business that offers lunch, dinner, and drinks. Additionally, this location caters to banqueting events. We have the capacity to serve approximately 150 covers each evening, and we also have a spacious terrace with 130 seats where guests can enjoy lunch and dinner during the summer. Together with our head chef, Kitchen & Bar Van Rijn serves the most delicious dishes!
Who are you?
You possess extensive work experience and have at least completed a professional cooking program (at level 3). As a Souschef, you share responsibility for all aspects in the kitchen and dishwashing area. Moreover, you are enthusiastic, excel in maintaining order, and can lead the team when necessary. You will be part of a friendly team, consisting of a head chef, independent chefs, and a dishwasher/kitchen assistant.
- Possession of the regular certificates and/or diplomas required for this position (at least a completed professional cooking program at level 3).
- Extensive work experience, including at least 1 year as a Souschef.
- You are creative and have a passion for cooking.
- Proactive work attitude and a clear understanding of what is expected.
- Flexibility, including weekends.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- You are service-oriented and focused on quality.
- Ideally, living in Amsterdam or the immediate vicinity.
