Kitchen Assistant

Do you already have some kitchen experience and want to develop your skills further at a lively top location in Amsterdam? Heck’s is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team and help out during lunch and dinner service at Rembrandt Square!

You’ll be working together with a Head Chef, Sous-Chef, and another Line Cook. Heck’s is open seven days a week. Together we create a schedule that perfectly fits your private life.

You are:

• Flexible in availability.

• Willing to work on weekends.

• Living in (or near) Amsterdam.

• A good communicator in English; Dutch is a plus.

Your tasks include:

• Assisting in the preparation of lunch and dinner dishes according to our quality standards.

• Preparing mise en place.

• Working closely with your fellow chefs and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.

• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).

• Keeping your workstation and kitchen equipment clean and in good condition.
