Café restaurant De Kroon has been a landmark on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam for years.
De Kroon has undergone a complete renovation, embracing a 1950s look with a modern twist! Located on the first floor, De Kroon offers a beautiful view of Rembrandtplein from the conservatory.
De Kroon provides various options, including our extensive Bar Bites menu, drinks, and delightful dinners, as well as opportunities for dancing.
In addition to its restaurant function, De Kroon transforms into a club on Friday and Saturday nights. De Kroon also features the Royal Room, designed for private dining, buffets, private parties, weddings, seminars, meetings, and more. In short, it's a fantastic venue with a lot of diversity!
We are searching for a 'Supervisor' with some experience in the restaurant and/or club industry. You are enthusiastic, resilient to stress, and service-oriented. Your goal is to provide guests with a unique evening. You are available to work on Friday and Saturday nights for club events.
What will you be doing?
- Leading and motivating the staff.
- Taking responsibility for achieving goals in service, quality, and revenue.
- Managing restaurant resources, products, stocks, and equipment.
- Addressing and resolving issues, as well as handling guest inquiries/complaints.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, labor, HACCP, and house rules regulations.
You are:
- MBO-4 level of education and thinking.
- At least 1 year of work experience as a manager/shift leader/supervisor in a similar work environment (hospitality industry).
- Good communication skills.
- Available on Friday and Saturday nights.
